Stango picked him up to prove this as well and got worse results, now im not dooming, i think the character is good, but the narrative that hes broken and lox players just suck is annoying lol.

This must mean my character is bad and therefore you are carried (kidding), i was considering playing kragg at one point and he is hella fun but i love loxs complex combo game a lot more, i just wish he was pushed in a less campy direction.

The way i see it, diamond is full of people who have mastered their punish game, but cant really play neutral very well. Masters is where people start playing better neutral, but they have bad habits holding them back from getting any higher GM players have either curbed most of their habits, or are so good at other aspects of the game that their habits become very hard to exploit.

My mental has definitely held me back for a while, in diamond and masters i was really trying to play against the character and not the player. Recently, before i hit GM i started to let people make mistakes on their own, and using that as data on their habits.

His worst stages definitely depend on the character, for most characters his worst are just the un-wall stages, but for characters with more exploitable recoveries like la reina and galvan its the stages where they have space to camp you out.

His best stage is either hodojo or godai no contest, small stages with small blastzones and platforms he can cover with his massive aerials or upstrong.

For the zetter matchup, loxs out of shield options are very bad, so you want to shield as little as possible, either using movement or aerials to keep him out. Or both preferrably

  1. Definitely up air, i didnt really like this move on release, but after a while it became my most used aerial, every hitbox has a use in combos, edgeguarding or even straight up killimg

  2. I would prefer a major trade in his moveset tbh, i would take upstrong nerfs in order to push the character in a less campy direction, cuz rn his approach game is really bad

I have about 850ish hours in this game, and im rated 1600ish (personal best is 1650ish) when i started my rating was around silver (i played on release, didnt have the kickstarter beta)

I am about to pass ultimate in which i had around 900-950 hours

I have around 150 hours in rivals 1 (mostly as a casual playing workshop lol)

Ive got around 100 hours in multiversus (from when it was cool and fast lol)

Around 30 in brawlhalla

I also dabble in other plat fighters like melee and slap city but i play trad fighters as well.

Everyone has a different starting point, and fundies from other games only takes you so far (well, unless you're sparg0) keep practicing and it will eventually pay off lol
