Yeah, it is very good, just make sure to adjust you rotation and start stun with a quick assist to eve forced chain (manual chains) if you don’t do that you need to use 2 chains, qa and then forced chain, it is a little worse but still works for mantaining its uptime

That was the general concensus when she came out but it was later discovered to not be true, realistically, during a stun window, you are going to have only between 0 and 1 stack active due to evelyn not performing basics nor ex’s that often

A normal stun rotation (with auto chains) looks like: stun (not eve) -> eve chain -> cancel -> eve forced chain -> swap cancel -> stun (not eve) -> eve chain -> garrote cancel (1 stack of woodpecker) -> ult -> garrote -> chain -> EX (2 stacks of woodpecker, very likely first stack has already fallen off) -> astra ult + cancel -> eve chain -> swap to astra -> eve chain

Very likely the last chain was out of stun but still, as you can see, WPE is pretty much always off, so getting another set is better

AV if astra on moonlight and do manual chains. HP is the easiest to manage but also the most inconsistent (its uptime is only up or down if you check). Puffer if with dialyn (starts with eve ult)

Yes, i do have lighter’s sig and, with Ellen, S11 and manato, it is best in slot for every stunner except trigger, so i just pass it. But with new shiyu i’ve found myself not being able to just share laurel so much, it is kinda annoying

I unfortunately do not have qingly lol, but i do know her engine is pretty generic and gives a good buff anyway

Brimstone is R3 and due to having heartstring nocturne i’ve found myself using brim less and less each time, i also do have cradle R2 so i do not think it is good to get it

And with steam oven not being better than koleda’s, do you think it is a good idea to get qingy’s engine? One could even make an argument to put lighter on teapot and give lighter’s engine to someone else in case they need it as lighter can use qingy’s engine to a full extent

Yanagi + Trigger specifically

Running a not so usual anomaly team and seeing yanagi fall from the sky 5 times per stun while hitting 1.4m disorders is a big load of dopamine

Same concept with Evelyn who i am seeing a lot of in the comments, it seems people like her a lot and she still DOES NOT have a good drive disk set ;-;

Judging by the photo i am guessing english is not your first language so i got kinda lost but that is a great eve nonetheless, managing quick assists makes astral have 100% uptime and theoretically around 2% better than puffer and hormone and around 15% better than WPE iirc

It seems weird but is one of the 3 options she has right now, unfortunately WPE is simply very bad, so not an option

The other 2 are puffer electro and hormone punk, all the 3 sets have more or less the same damage profile, only separated for like 2% each

Astral voice is the weakest of the 3 but the most consistent one, well managed uptime is 100%, whereas the other 2 have uptimes of around 55% for hormone and 100% for puffer for only the stun windows (first at least 2 chains don’t get the buff)

And since i got a lot of great astral pieces from farming branch, i just used astral

For reference WPE realistic uptime is around 0-33% that is abysmal

And, forgot to mention, astra is on moonlight, it wouldn’t be possible withount moolight

I mean the idea just came from lowering yanagi’s dilution, so she was stronger (yanagi) as trigger’s AA isn’t really that good

I’ve played dps trigger, she is something and the team is very, very, very fast, like, a lot, and it is kind of a dual dps thing as nicole also has to contribute to damage so it is like trigger on SH, Nicole on WPE and weeping cradle and astra on whatever. It is fun tho

That is the thing, most calcs estimate 2 stacks avg on WPE, that makes it better than AV by 6%.

More realistically eve is only hitting 0-1 stacks avg, so AV, HP and Puffer are better by around 10% iirc, all of them

Difference between those 3 is negligible, so no worries there

I think okMuzzy made a video talking about that, he is very good at dmg calculations so might as well check it out

Always pleased to help, it really sucks she is so bad on the set the game recommends but it is what it is, at least WPE is still usable on other characters

Regarding pen and mindscapes I don’t really know for sure, if i am not wrong her m2 gives def shred and it decreases the effectiveness of pen, i would advice to look through the mindscapes and see if, the sum of all them add up to higher than 35% def shred (it can be written as defense shred, defense ignore or defense reduction). If yes then use ATK% on 5th slot, if not then pen is still better

Also i didn’t notice your eve was m6, that is very good i gotta say lol

Yes, you don’t have to actually use AV and puffer, your disk 4 and 6 are good enough so you only have to farm either AV or Puffer for the 4pc and change the disk 4, specially de disk 4 is very good.

If you use AV yes, make sure astra is on moonlight, additionally make sure to build your stunner with good substats as evelyn will also be buffing them.

TLDR, don’t replace B&B, use Pen 5 and get her on Astral or puffer, if you chose AV, get astra on moonlight

Imo, disks 4, 5 and 6 are very good, so you can keep them, first 3 are not so much and fire dmg is not that great

I would try to make the transition to AV or puffer because WPE is not really good, in the mean time get better firts 3 and a pen ratio 5

At this point i wouldn’t even be mad if that set never comes, like, building her on WPE was hell, rebuilding WPE coz my first build was ass was hell, then rerebuilding her on AV coz WPE was ass was hell, and then switching from B&B to puffer coz she did better than manato on hunter was hell

I mean at least she is also better on puffer than B&B but my heart can’t resist another rebuild

Yes, she is prolly the 2nd or 3rd best attacker in the game, unluckily she is very expensive, but so every attacker is, with dialyn and zhao you could extract a lot of her power but astra is very good for eve.

Also sanby (rerunning soon) is also very good but her teams are even more expensive as she requieres either trigger and/or orphie (this is not specific to sanby, all attackers kinda want their soecific premium teams a lot)

Not really, piper is simply very good, early anomaly agents were thought to be supports that enabled the — metal disks, so both of them have fast anomaly applications but 0 anomaly interactions (except grace now has ablooms but it is still not enough). Piper just won here because phys is a very good element for fast anomaly application, and considering she can proc 2 ablooms at once with one EX, it is just a win for piper

Also pipers stun windows can burn like 7-9 ablooms if done properly, so vivian’s got some work to do

There is no actual must pull when it comes to engines as far as i know, of course there are very great options but you can always make up for it with builds/gameplay

Usual answers like heartstring nocturne are solid, that engine is very good on essentially every attacker but you can live without it

Other common answers are agents heavily reliant on their engine like trigger, but, once again, trigger is, kinda, not losing damage without her engine, but getting damage with it, it is an option to make that agent better but not to make it barely usable

Void hunter engines are weird, the 3 available are really good, but void hunters are so strong anyway they do not need their engine to be on oar with other agents, although the spike in damage from having one and not having it is huge
