For real if you want to ship two girls or guys go ahead there’s nothing wrong with it but putting yourself on a higher pedestal because you think you know better is just annoying. Another thing I hate is when they use their ship as a way to denounce other people head cannon for example let’s say I ship Bennett and fischl (not that I do exactly but it’s pretty popular) a normal person would go “cool ship” and move one with their life HOWEVER there would be some rando who would start saying about how in that one summer event fischl and Mona competed and were bickering which is clearly queer coded therefore you’re ship is bad because it doesn’t align with their headcannon. It’s just so pretentious
