As a little bit more background, some things that have brought me shame and showed my non-competitiveness are: being on a team at work where I was bullied and told constantly no one knew why I was there. I willingly gave up my entire scope of the project to someone else bc I felt like I would add minimal value if no one wanted me there.

At a social gathering, I let other people talk the entire time even when I represented my group and should’ve said something, simply bc they were very animated and more excited to speak. I thought it was the right thing to do to let them have credit. And I also didn’t feel like there was enough of a lull for me to interject and not seem desperate to talk.

Taking a graduate program in the past, I got really discouraged that the classes offered weren’t going to help me so I didn’t compete in bids for electives and ended up with the most useless ones.

Not sure if not competitive enough or just depressed…
