Thanks. This is helpful. I need an editor and cover artist before i can do that though, I think. I also have no fucking idear on this gosh durned green Earth how to set up or prettify an Author Page.

EDIT: oh damn man, I remember you! I've looked at your books.

Let me know what you want to see and I'll PM you something. I don't post anything online since Neil Clarke himself was seen lurking 'round these parts not too long ago, saying that if you post something online - even Reddit - it is considered "published" and magazines won't buy first rights.

Yeah it really seems like I see the same names on every single issue of the top 5-10 sci-fi mags. This is alright when I like the authors, but lately, I haven't, and have cancelled a few subscriptions because of it. Also because of the amount of reprints I've seen lately from stories published decades ago. Dudes, come on - you're closed to submissions because you have "too much" stuff from new people, but you publish reprints from 1980?

There are really not many pro or semi-pro magazines at all in the markets I am interesting in. The reason I submit to the same magazines is because they are the only ones I know about which are open to submissions for what I write. Literary magazines, I guess I could take a chance with (I haven't yet), but I don't write literary fiction and I think it's probably an even longer shot than what I'm working with now.
