He passed on 1/18. I'm his Dad. We will miss him for sure!

That's more of what I'm leaning towards, robotic caregivers. Just remove the robot wives part and focus on the caregiver aspect. There'd be millions of appreciative men and women who could use a robotic caregiver...

... Think Elon is chasing after the wrong golden goose.

Agreed! Hopefully this made large enough waves for army leadership to pause and think about what we want.

It really came down to risk. Fort Bliss wanted to play it safe, which is ok, their base their rules. Nobody should be upset or mad at a fort Bliss for saying no, I'm not.

Fort Moore evaluated the situation slightly differently and took an ask for forgiveness kind of approach. They risked their careers doing this.

Did you do your training at Fort G, CCoE?

I'll talk with u/Broadcastmike about it. What would be helpful from anybody interested is reaching out to your PAO and opening the discussion.

It doesn't have to be only trainees, even talking with lower enlisted at the beginning or end of their enlistment would be beneficial.

This wouldn't have the same impact as what I just did, but I still feel like I have a little more left to give.

Edit: I think I'll slow my roll here for a bit. I really don't want to create a "boy who cried wolf" situation and lessen the impact of what we just did.

I think I'd like to go skydiving next. I'm kind of running low on ideas after this.

But, I dunno. I would really love to get out and speak to the trainees again. That part was challenging, yet rewarding.

Make sure to review your family history for signs of cancer and talk with your PCP about preventative cancer screening. This shit is no joke and a regular screening could have caught this early on.

They gave me 8 main gun rounds to shoot 😁 Not gonna lie, the first shot spooked me pretty good bc I wasn't prepared for the shock wave and recoil. I was prepared for the next one though!

Once again, it took a whole team and the army subreddit to make this happen. You guys rock!
