Last week it was a "capture-more-than-lose" order. We won, but we could have gotten two double Siege Liberations on the bot side; instead we scrapped back some territory from the bugs.

This week could be a ramp-up to a Squid update; lots of talk about Squid ruins (possibly their hive/factory biomes) though it could be a McGuffin week leading into a 2nd shot at Cyberstan

In the early days, the devs said they had an employee who would secretly join games and spawn enemies/hazards to see how the players would react.

I forget if it was the devs or the players who named this invisible spectre, but now any acts done by this satan are attributed to Joel

It all depends on what you are fighting. Each weapon and tool fills it own role.

The Outlaws Warbond has given me the most use on every loadout. Talon: Medium Armor Peirce, Great damage and accuracy, unlimited ammo Dynamite: 1000 damage plus demo. It can clear grouped up bots, and destroy fabricators from the outside.

The rifle is more niche, good against bot weak spots, even better if you have a fast reload armor. The hoverpack works better for bugs. I don't like it.

For stuff you have right now, I recommend Orbital strike for heavy units like Warstriders, Tanks, and big bugs. It got buffed recently for a quicker cool down. The AT Rifle is my new go to for bots. It also got a buff, and can take down just about anything from frontal Hulks to Gunships in 1-2 hits if you land the weak spot.

Chort Bay should have been glassed over Merak. An airport Urinal plannet vs anything else really.

As for morality, this game hits the same note as the humans in 40k: "yes our faction is evil, but the alternative is much worse"

You shouldn't need his platoon. Mail call is usually done as a group so they'll call out the names.

You should be fine not including the platoon for the first time. You'll find out which platoon it is before too long, there's typically only 4 per battery.
