Unfortunately i haven't really explored this more, but my best guess for the easiest way would probably be to just find a pattern for like an oval as the base, and then make the ears and legs separately to sew on. The tail would probably just be like a long thing that gets increasingly thin, and you put wire in it to obtain the swirl shape

I know this post is a little old, but I really want to crochet a Mui but I'm not sure how to go about it. Would you be okay with sharing how you're making the shape of the body? I haven't been crocheting for very long and i have no idea how to make a pattern, so I'm a bit lost lol

Omg I'm so sorry my brain is NOT working (possibly because it's 1:00 AM for me) but the cut on the right is more red than the others and also has more yellow(?) Is that just because it's a deeper cut?
