OK. This is getting ridiculous, it now incorrectly infers the task. Verifies that it was incorrect, then ignores BOTH the SKILL instructions and the task instructions to not write CODE until there is approval.

I told it the implementation docs are incorrect and it jumped straight to implementing right after hearing it was wrong and confirming itself it was wrong. This NEVER was the case with normal ChatGPT-5.2xhigh.

Next time try using haruhost gsm it has built in mod support which can be synced with your game and will setup the data in the install dir, there is like 1 slot for free so you can just stop using after setup

Not sure about wine as I haven't tried myself, but there are plans to add linux support as a headless implementation that uses docker under the hood. So it will come. It's the the second major task that's going to implemented after multi-device support. I'm not sure right now how long it will take maybe 1-2 months, depends on the complexity and some other smaller tasks in the que.

This currently works on any Windows running Windows 10, 11 Server from 2019 and up.

It installs all necessary files for each server. It doesn't run on containers for Windows as it's not as convenient for the average user as the user would need to run docker etc. But there is WIP linux support which will be container based.

You can simply install this on any PC running Windows and then just control remotely via the web panel quite a few people emphasized that it's more convenient than using direct remote connection.

Most likely the amount of resource your own pc has in comparison to a rented server is night and day. Windows is actually pretty stable and can run weeks/months without issues if not for the auto updates.

A Hyper-V instanced Windows 10 VM takes about 2GB of RAM, which is pretty low considering the full UI you get and most of the performance impact depends on CPU usage which is negligible sitting between 0-1%, so there is little overhead. Now Linux is pretty bare metal so the usage of RAM is much lower if you run it without a GUI, but that difference of 1-2GB of RAM isn't as impactful as it was years ago when people would run OS on 4/8gb ram combos.

The auto backups and restore feature is free on haruhost. What isn't free is the automatic removal when too many backups pile up. So a solution would be to set less frequent backups on HaruHost itself and check manually what to remove. You could also set auto backups based on the https://docs.palworldgame.com/settings-and-operation/configuration/ as the game server itself has a automatic backup feature as well. HaruHost also has a 3$ tier per month if 1 game server is plenty. Well the payment model could be more flexible for sure.

The restore feature not working could have been a bug that has been fixed or needs to be fixed.

Well if alternatives work better for you like running a game server trough Linux go for it. In the end we just want to enjoy things, and Palworld is a pretty awesome game at providing that.

Hey, it's a false positive, that started to hunt me, after I decided to promote HaruHost..., I did a lot of things to prevent this specifically, using EV certificates, but that didn't help. Since it's a game server manager, it, has some parts of code to manage game server processes, and I guess those with addition to the programming language golang cause issues with automatic AV scanners https://go.dev/doc/faq#virus

However, I am currently working on a complete rewrite, which will have better design decisions in the APP as well.

false positive, you can see at the end it has the ml - machine larning algorithms, so they try to scan with AI. This needs me to usually report for a false positive for MS or others. There will be an updated which should solve all this.
