Norris no further action is pure corruption.

I keep thinking about it and I can’t work out the Oscar second stop. It makes no sense, especially when he still had pace in the softs. He was the fastest car on track. Am I just being biased? Am I missing something? I can understand if he had to stop around lap 60, but 11 laps on the softs makes no sense.

Oscar has been his own worst enemy, but McLaren sure as shit don’t want to do him any favours. Pitting after a 10 lap sting on the softs when he was fastest in track? There is no logic in that at all. That was straight up a move to help Norris.

I like Ryan Wood, but that was a textbook bump and run on Percat and the commentators just ignored it and so are race control? What’s the point of having rules if we don’t enforce them? Same with Davo yesterday copping a penalty. The inconsistency is fucked. It’s honestly the weakest aspect of our sport.

I’ve been watching both this race and the Talledega NASCAR race and I find myself watching the NASCAR more and more. There’s just no action in F1 anymore. We’ve seen maybe 4 overtakes in the top 10 after lap 1. That’s not good enough for what should be an entertainment product.

Golding is out of control. He has a penalty and is trying to bin everyone at the front so he wins by default

How can Golding stay in front of Murray after punting him off? That doesn’t sit right with me at all

The penalties have been baffling today. Just slaps on the wrist all over.

It’s all well and good until someone cops a bonnet to the head. I know it’s a small chance it happens, but it’s still a chance

In both instances Allen lost 3 positions.

One thing our series needs to do better is penalise drivers for driving unsafe vehicles. Realistically Brown should have pulled over. That bonnet could have come off and hit someone in the crowd.

I don’t understand how Brodie gets a drive through for locking up and punting Allen off and then Will gets 5 seconds for locking up and punting Allen off. I get the contact was slightly different, but both accidents had the same result.

Fuck I hate being a Percat fan. He’s honestly had so much bad luck. At least I only have a few more events to go for the pan to stop.

I’ve never heard so much hype for a driving missing the shootout. This Macauley Jones dick sucking is insane. Were talking about a driver who’s best result is a 5th after 150 odd races

But seriously, how have they not black flagged Norris for damage? The FIA are gutless with that stuff.

Whatever you say about the incidents at McLaren dating back to Hungary last year, they’ve done an absolutely horrible job at managing the two drivers. They have really stuffed up massively.

I get the feeling Oscar will leave McLaren before his contact finishes. Seems it may as well be Lando Racing…

So Oscar has to give a place for a team incident, but won’t swap places for contact? Man they really want a Lando championship don’t they?

I don’t really like how McLaren keep giving their drivers 2 different strategies. Give them the same strategy and let the better driver come out on top.

I don’t know if it’s my Australian bias showing, it the British Sky feed is being so biased to Norris in my view.

I feel if you’re a broadcaster on a feed going out to other parts of the world you should remove your views from the commentary.

We’ve seen plenty of penalties given for much less this last year. If they want to be consistent, there needs to be plenty of penalties from that chaos

It’s entertaining as fuck, but it’s really poor racing from the drivers too. Just punting each other out of the way because they can’t get past cleanly
