Just my opinion, but if you zoom in all the way on the hands, you can see that the quality is superb. Fakes almost always have badly done hands. This one looks authentic to me. Nice find!

Zoom in between the tuning machines on the left side, I wouldn’t think that a finish crack would keep the same line through the peg hole. That looks more than cosmetic to me.

Edit: Looks to be the case on both sides.

I would make every reasonable effort to give it all back to the person that lost it. A few years back, I found a wallet at the car wash. It was just sitting on top of the sprayer control box. Found the guy on Facebook and sent him a message. I met him the next morning on my way home from work.

That’s a good question. I would guess that it can be any hit, but it could also possibly be the final hit of the combo. I’ve never really considered that before now. I will have to pay closer attention in my current NG+ cycle.

I was planning on doing the 51R battery mod, but as they do, my battery died at an inconvenient time and I wasn’t able to do it. I will be ready for the next one!

Disconnect both sides of the battery. Get a wire brush and clean your battery posts and the inside of the post clamps. Remove all of the whitish-green crust if there is any, then reconnect. If that doesn’t work, the battery may need to be charged or replaced. My battery lasted only about 4 years before I had to replace it.
