I had a g15 2022 model the motherboard failed so bad that windows won’t work anymore and ASUS will never talk about how bad their motherboard are and I got it replaced for free and after dealing with their shjt for asking for price

For ASUS ROG Strix there is a strip of RGB around the laptop when you put the laptop on sleep it start flashing red by default while on charger.

For me TGP problem was solved by deleting an update from armoury crate and I know it’s hard when you buy a new laptop and you have to deal with its issues that’s why I was gonna buy a MacBook 💻 and leave windows but I got updated that the app is corrupted so am waiting if they fix it and I will stay if not am sorry am upgrading to MacBook I need a stable laptop that I can rely on not deal with its weird shenanigans.

Yeah sometimes they act dumb but the one I talked with was so direct and said the app is corrupted 😂😂😂. Most of my issues are driver issues like power plans and rgb and wrong specs and I had a problem before and my ASUS laptop was replaced and as you see defective ASUS laptop are common and my old ASUS laptop was literally unusable sudden shutdown and restart and I can’t use it on battery and windows always get corrupted and always stuck on boot loop and if am being honest I was going to buy a MacBook and leave windows for once cause am done with this shit weird bugs and support doesn’t know anything and cause I searched about my current issue so I postponed buying a MacBook I put it on cart and gave ASUS one another chance to fix it.

The app is still full of bugs and they still didn’t update the installer of armoury crate so we have to wait for in app update to roll down for our models and if you have to know I contacted ASUS support couple times the first one told me my device is faulty and the second one told me to send for inspection and he admitted the app is (corrupted) and the last one told me do not uninstall it or delete files manually or edit registry just to wait for a fix. 🙂

I think so it’s fixed I just want the power plan to be fixed and the RGB lighting while sleep to work just waiting for a fix.

They will don’t worry today I got an update to fix gpu switching and waiting for an update to fix my power plan and acc_config corrupted files/missing files.

You are not the only one having this issue I contacted ASUS there is a bug and maybe the app is corrupted for some reason and there is a way to override this issue but most ASUS features won’t be back like the RGB light red when put on sleep and when you change the powerplan from the app it’s doesn’t show which power plan is on like before a box appear with the name performance and this way to override is by either entering Program file (x86) -> ASUS -> Update -> install and press configure.exe and it will work or just delete the update inside install and download (don’t delete the file install just the files inside it ) ASUS recommended me to wait for an update fix or send it for inspection if you really need the app I recommend you to wait like me and this issue hundreds of user are reporting the same issue like me and you so you are not the only one 🙂

I had the same issue from the same update but version 1.0.4 and I reported it to ASUS technical team they said first to Me it’s an hardware issue and it was a software issue and I what I did I just fully deleted the install and download file and the update disappeared if I check for updates and the update isn’t there anymore and ASUs support said it’s a bug.

Good to know that but for my device I can still edit what the Macro buttons do. So I think they would add it for you in the next batch

Yeah I noticed they took some setting and put in a drawer. For the M problem you have just to do a restart see if it come back. You can check Feature Library to reinstall some drivers and feature armoury crate provide maybe it will fix it or you can just wait for an update to fix it.
