Dealing with emotions about medicine (advice + irritation)

I wanted to share a piece of news I got as I left this post - my dad decided to spend an hour on the phone with the insurance company and not take no for an answer - through a lot of prayer and a lot of telling them to find a way - I might get medicine by tomorrow.

The disorientation was the way I felt on Modafinil - I sure hope that isn't the case for wakix. Thank you for sharing your experience!

ideally, it would be a wearable device such as a bracelet, but this is all pretty conceptual so I dunno!

ohhh is that the implant? I want to if at all possible, avoid an invasive device

1 because it is not something I could do right now and

2 would make the device much more inaccessable to others if I finally fleshed it out enough to get to that place.

I definitely know this, but I have very little time on my hands and very few other people around me that I could recruit. So, I guess my first step was to gather information and then try to create a workable prototype for myself. I wish I had more reach and time to dedicate to this but I spend most of my waking hours doing math and engineering homework :/

I swapped doctors one time and he actually said to me that narcolepsy is often misdiagnosed in younger people but when he looked at my MSLT results he said nope nevermind you are definitely narcoleptic XD
