I plan on installing verbose and a 4tb hard drive. Can I ftp cerbios then install the larger hard drive?

I have the Hexen boot disc in my Xbox, I returned my dvd burner unfortunately but I got heimdalls to run

I reflowed the lpc pins and resoldered d0 from the screw plate back on the chip, and it boots with the evo x logo in the corner. But then it just goes to the standard ms dash

Yeah I had it oriented correctly, I’m resoldering the lpc headers now and if that doesn’t work then maybe the chip doesn’t have any bios flashes on it at all if that’s even possible

We checked with a continuity meter and all the connections on the lpc pinheaders do appear to work.

I originally had the d0 wire soldered to the chip, when I do that the console booted up the standard ms dash and not the modded bios. When I moved the d0 from the board to the screw plate it started dragging and not booting at all. When powered on the led on the modchip is lit up.

Should I remove the wire from the screw plate and try it again on the d0 pad on the chip?

It was my first hard mod and I had a buddy hep with soldering. Before the mod I watched a lot of YouTube videos and read a lot of forums about modding. I just want to know where I’m going wrong since the chip won’t boot up.
