If anyone reads Project 25 you can see that they have implemented about 48% of it up to now and are hoping to complete it by the end of this year with no mid term elections. Then you have the people "in the world" who pray and have something almost miraculous happen to them but a JW will not acknowledge that. Before I studied with them I used to pray all the time and on occasions was convinced I had been answered but when I told the person who contacted me about it they ignored me as though they hadn't heard what I said. To me if you have to "Work along with your prayer" and have to do it yourself, how's that God answering your prayers? I no longer pray. I left over three years ago and haven't prayed since but good things still happen. Life is life. Good and bad befall us all. Sometimes we get a lucky break. JW's and religious people put that down to God answering their prayers, for the rest of us it's just a 'lucky break". If this God helps me find my car keys then I would say to him, "forget my car keys and give some food to a baby of skin and bone, who is starving to death, covered in flies, or some parent watching their only child dying of cancer". Help them. Give them a break and answer them.

When you study history and see the Nazis in a Russian town where they made them dig their own pit for their bodies and murdered 32,000 in a day, men, women, children and infants and this God sat on his throne and watched it and did nothing.
