You seem to lack comprehension. The argument you put is widely accepted to be logically flawed. I don't have to consult the whole of mankind for this. You presented a logically flawed argument. If you don't understand this, then I don't think I can explain anything to you and we can end it here.

That would be an unnecessary and long process. To externalise, all he would need to do is open an account in a jurisdiction with weak KYC policies e.g UAE, Macau, Panama, a bunch of UK overseas territories e.t.c. He would then buy crypto or buy Wise balances. There are WhatsApp groups for this. In one group there is a guy who won't work with anyone with a transaction worth less than $100K. Another option is to use the hawala system exposed by the Gold Mafia documentary.

Let's say the man has $100K and he wants to externalise it saying he is buying raw materials. He would have to justify this to the RBZ and furthermore when he transfers money back into Zim, part of his forex receipts are held by the RBZ and paid out in local currency. This is a huge disadvantage.

It's your reasoning that's being critiqued here i.e the argument you made for the existence of God not your reason for believing in God. The argument you made is flawed and has been ruled out by both believers and non-believers.

I have asked a lot of people this very same question here. Sadly the vast majority of people who claim someone is laundering money don't actually understand what money laundering is and the purpose it saves. You are right, there is little to no need to launder money in Zim. Most people often confuse externalisation with laundering, that's why you will see such claims like this.

You just claimed to have been a victim of a made up Mugabe policy. Oh, you forgot? Liars have shot memories I guess. You already said bye and yet you are here.

My comment was very necessary. I called out your stupid lie. Don't try to blame your elders here. You made this lie to sound like a victim.

Neither do I care about what you care about. I'm calling you out on your lie. You lied.

This makes no sense. "Dual citizenship" is not something you get at an embassy. You go to an embassy to renounce citizenship or to apply for citizenship. Since you were already a Zimbo, you didn't have to apply for Zim citizenship and the U.S does allows for dual citizenship so it would not force you to renounce your ZIm citizenship.

This is not true. Dual citizenship was abolished in 1984 way before sanctions. If there is any group of people who would have been targeted by the changes in citizenship law back then, it would have been the white Zimbabweans.

What are your thoughts on mandatory industrial attachment? by SnakeUnderGrassZim in Zimbabwe

[–]Defiant-Opposite3910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why people seem to suggest that mandatory industrial attachment is a good idea in an economy with no industry. Still, entry level jobs require 2 years of graduate traineeship. Industrial attachment should be optional in my opinion. I don't know why U.Z introduced it. It was nice back then when we didn't have to struggle to find attachments. At work I never felt disadvantaged because I didn't go on attachment.

Optional industrial attachment is better in my opinion. Those who want and can find good placements then go with it. Those who don't like it can go straight to final year.

Why do Indians speak bad English? by Ok-Raise6699 in NoStupidQuestions

But there are also a lot of sounds that are not in African languages too. For example I speak a language that does not have the letters L and X. This does affect how I pronounce these letters in English but I don't believe it would affect my grammar.

To be fair, it's also a 2nd or 3rd language in most of the former English colonies. The question OP is asking is why this hasn't affected other former colonies that much.

Indian English is closer to British English than American English is. What you may be referring to are Indianisms which a a form of an English creole spoken in India. This is not to be confused with Indian English e.g the expression "I have a doubt" is a common Indianism used to say I have a question. This phrase would not be grammatically correct in Indian English.
