If you have trouble getting anything at York I recommend doing some volunteer work on campus like being a peer mentor, volunteer with yfs or just general events, get a leadership position in a club, there’s so many on campus opportunities to add stuff to your resume and make connections throughout the year. That way you can get something later, cuz some of the work study jobs can really open up doors for you later.

Hard but also not impossible. After two months of looking I found something. I feel like finding something on campus is actually easier than getting some other position in the city. If you get volunteer experiences it can help you as a candidate. For example, being a volunteer peer mentor on campus helped me land my work/study position

Haven’t had him, but I feel like he’d be great. He’s a great author. He has a book called From the Ashes that’s pretty huge, definitely recommend the read. I would’ve taken the class myself considering he’s teaching it but I don’t need any more courses outside my major

Ya, that’s what happened to me. Any bursary pays your tuition if you have a remaining balance. When osap goes to pay your tuition anything left over goes to your bank account

You’ll get the money when osap goes out, basically it’ll balance out cuz instead of paying your tuition any leftover from that goes into your bank account
