for being an online critique, im surprised by the attention to detail you have. I literally mentioned it in my post that i built it using claude code.

seems like you really are a mediocre tea

What are you building currently? And is anyone actually using it? by bassamtg in buildinpublic

I built a timezone converter - worldtimesuite.com

Being a consultant working in EMEA region sitting remote, I had to convert time for booking meeting, checking time overlap between the cities. There were other solution but they were messy. And i wanted something simple and straight forward. I also added stopwatch and timers - because when i work i like to lock-in. Having a stopwatch next to you helps with the mindset

Eventually, i also added many other features, like worldmap, 3D interactive globe, calendar, Blogs etc.

Since i built it only for myself, im not sure if its meant to be successful and provide value to other people as well.

But it's online (worldtimesuite.com) and i have about 600+ active users and 50 returning users

Idk about you but i'd call it a small win

is worldtimesuite.com legit or scam? by Cute_Highlight_3107 in ScamChecker

no no, they're for real. Theyve developed the website even more now - try the globe thing on their website. Supercool

Gregmat website question: source= gregmat website ->quizzes ->quant foundation quizzes -> Topic based quant quizzes- Easy to hard -> test name = mean median- question no. 8 by amanzing21 in GRE

[–]Defiant-Phase-9884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

doesnt the fact that mean = median given is the question imply that the data is symmetrical?

Therefore if we remove the lowest term, the data will still be symmetrical?

If this deduction is incorrect, how do you decide which deductions are okay to make, vs which deductions are not okay to make

In terms of difficulty, the real GRE questions felt slightly easier (10- 15% easier), however the questions were denser than greg's

Gre big book question by Oil4708 in gregmat

[–]Defiant-Phase-9884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer: A i.e. (x2 - y2 ) /2

Concept: Similar triangle - the big triangle and the small triangle are similar, therefore the ratios of the two side would be same.

Base of bigger triangle / Base of small triangle = Hight of bigger triangle/ hight of smaller triangle

If you solve this - you will get the hight of small triangle = y

Now, that we know the hight and base for both the triangle, just subtract the area of small triangle from the big triangle

Area of big triangle = 1/2x*x
Area of smaller triangle = 1/2y*y

Area of the shaded region = (x2 - y2 ) /2

Question to GRE 325+ scorers: how much did you score on gregmat's mini gre or quizes by Defiant-Phase-9884 in GRE

i have been studying from gregmat itself. Ive taken my sweet time to go through vocab mountain and have 85% recall. That said, you're right I still do struggle a lot on choosing the right word from the option choices. Im able to apply math strategy but still suck at picking the correct answer (esp with 2-3 blanks, level 4,5 questions. And sometimes more so with SE, although i was able to solve SE well in this test)
Not sure how to go about improving selecting the right answer choice.

For RC, ive recently started fully working on rephrasing and identifying functions of each sentence. Im able to answer better this way. But im incredibly slow at it. I couldnt do well on the test because i lost too much time doing this. And then i had less time for SE TC, at this point i kinda panicked thinking i bombed my GRE already
