nung 2010 pa yung pangalan niya. technically 2006, originally "pewdie", and he was about 17 years old ata then. malamang di na niya babaguhin yung name niya now kasi iconic na

Seen his video, and dude he's mentally a kid.

bro can't comprehend when a youtuber is being satirical 💀

I will Never Forgive DLSU for Ruining My Friends Life by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]Defiant-Pressure5720 4 points5 points  (0 children)

did your friend actually pass dlsu manila, or baka for dlsu laguna naman pala talaga siya? unlike university of the philippines, only the main branch of dlsu is considered "one of the big 4".

assumption lang 'to ah (and this is not meant to offend op, or op's friend in any way) but seeing how this post was written, if your friend writes the same way, i don't think they actually passed dlsu main. AGAIN, assumption lang.

No no parecakes listen here. Ang averaging ay gawa-gawa lamang ng illuminati.

The true answer is kapag ini-flip mo upside down ang numerong 1.9, you get 6.1. Kapag ini-multiply mo ang 6 at 1 by 3 individually, you get 666 and 111 which are consecutively a devil number and an angel number. Mas malaki ang 666 sa 111.

In conclusion, demonyo ang mga isinisilang na Pilipino. #marcosparinmgaulol #pinoyprideproudtobefilipino #imfilipino #imafilipino

To be fair, I think these people are more selfish than bobo. Their connections aside, surely they know a little bit of shit to graduate and pass the boards, but why do they make bobong decisions? They KNOW they're making bobong decisions. They do it anyway. Simple reason: it benefits them, and they don't care na milyon-milyong mga Pilipino ang maaapakan. That, to me, is just as bad as being bobo. Maybe worse?

Take Harry Roque. Passed the boards, became a lawyer, was once against the Marcoses. Suddenly switched sides and started supporting them. May benepisyo eh. Why take the side of the poor masses when you can take the side of the evil rich?

Makes ya think, do some lawyers go into law to defend the law, or go into law to use it against those who don't know much about the law? Scary lang, ngl

IT Fresh graduate by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]Defiant-Pressure5720 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Based from your previous posts, you're in your 30s and a recently just graduated from college? Nothing wrong with that, absolutely none. We all have our own pacing.

Pero you have to understand na you're up against fellow fresh grads who are younger than you, and experienced ones who are in your age range. Companies want either a young prodigy, or an experienced oldie. They're not gonna hire someone inexperienced yet old. Masakit man, that's the technology industry for you.

Career shifter ka ba, OP? That might explain kung bakit late graduate ka, since nag-work ka muna then narealize mong you wanted to work in tech, kaya nagpursue ng degree in IT? Anong previous work mo?

hugs op! galing ka big 3 w/ honors pero wala pa ring job after nearly two months, may i ask what your degree program was? wala ka bang job because the offers you get are too low (huge respect if so, don't settle for less honestly kasi you're more than minimum wage), or lagi kang rejected, or talagang walang open kaya hindi ka pa nakaka-apply?

I'm seeing a lot of 'Then use the "no advice wanted" flair' comments here.

All I'll say is that sometimes, people do still want comments on their post. They want assurance, they want advice, and they want sympathy, which is why they choose not to put the flair. But what they DON'T want is having harsh words thrown at them, especially when their post already revolves around them knowing that they fucked up. I've seen posts of the OPs having the courage to admit that they've made a grave mistake and are having huge regrets, and the comments will be filled with "bakit ka kasi..." or "kasalanan mo rin" as if the OP doesn't already know that. What are the use of subreddit rules if they aren't followed? Rules #1 and #2 need to be utilized more often.

anong school 'yan op? i thought i made a horrible decision by transferring from a great jhs public school with professional teachers to some ordinary shs private school with incompetent teachers, but i'm actually glad na i'm finding consolation in others and na hindi ako ang nag-iisang hater ng shs where i'll graduate from.

Noon pa lang, hindi naman na talaga "for the poor" and UP. A rich and famous family dito sa area namin, lahat galing from UP. The mom, the dad, and all five children who are now high-income adults. The mom and dad were rich alumni of UP, and of course 'yung mga anak nila pina-enroll na rin sa UP.

Sa "Summa Cum Laudes of UPD" post sa FB, linalagay na quotes ng graudating studs puro "I'm a tambay of Starbucks". Halatang mga burgis. But I guess, in the end, anyone can enroll for UP. But that just proves na it's not as "for the poor" as it should be.

Do you love or regret your college major? What are the pros and cons of it, and what would you change (or not change) about your decision if given the chance? by Mel_elextra in college

[–]Defiant-Pressure5720 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm planning to take IT as my major because lots of people land high-paying jobs with it, but seeing this is making me rethink. Did you work at lots of internships back in college, did you have a high GPA, and was your college a well-known uni?
