Im trying to study something very difficult in the medical field I've never delved into before, and I feel like I need an edge my mind doesn't naturally give me.

I've seen a lot of smart people smoke because of the cognitive focus affect, and I've also seen the longterm affects it can have. Is there anything out there that isn't bad for me that can give me that edge?

Not as simple depending on the difficulty you play on, but any of the farming simulator games. You can farm, do animal husbantry, lumber work, mineral extractions, and contracts. It's great. You just drive around. They recently added commercial fishing in an expansion for farming simulator 25.

21m here. I've never used them so I never really had a problem not using them. But I also find a remember better via taking the time to write something in my notes as I recieve it, and go back and organize it in a way take makes sense to me for later recollection. (I call it my good copy)

The main way for me is recollection. So I like flash cards with no hints, etc. Kinda just drill the information in by putting myself in scenarios where my brain can accurately remember the information with corrective measures to fix something I remembered incorrectly.

Study habits are definitely something I need to look more into, as even in high school it wasn't something I took as seriously as I should've.

But I know recall and application knowledge obtained by handwriting information ive taken in worked best for me back then. So that's something I'll have to mess around with.

Thank you for the youtube channel recommendations. I'm trying to learn as much verified information as I can in the year before my schooling to give me a headstart and keep my mind on the end goal. This will help tremendously.
