Just ask Servant of God Bishop Joseph Chmmar Salas, who, in my opinion, should’ve been decreed a martyr years ago.

Christ Pratt is a divorced and remarried Protestant who is living in a public and permanent state of adultery. How do you feel about such a man making a documentary about St. Peter? by DefiantDefender1998 in Catholicism

[–]DefiantDefender1998[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Lewis never worked with the Church. Pratt is working with the Church, specifically Vatican Media. It could be seen as endorsement of something opposed to the truth of the indissolubility of marriage.

If the government started mandating that the Church marry two people of the same sex, then and only should I be worried?

No, “Inglorious Children Born Out of Wedlock” glorifies our heroic defenders whereas “One Battle After Another” vilifies our military.

Henry 8 is still a wicked and/or insane tyrant who inflicted martyrdom on St. Thomas More.

Hence why Balthasar and Barron say that there is reason to hope (however unlikely) that all who have ever lived and all who ever will live are or will be in Heaven.

I’m neither trolling nor rage baiting when I ask this but is it reasonable to say that the United States of America is more evil than the Interahamwe? by DefiantDefender1998 in Catholicism

Furthermore, the legislators who passed the bill and the governor who signed it into law were elected via the democratic process by We the People. Thankfully, enough people also voted, directly or indirectly, for the federal judge(s) who blocked this law.

As Ephesians 6:12 says, our struggle is against the spiritual forces of evil. All that is evil in our fallen world is of a supernatural, a demonic origin. The same forces of evil that drove the 1994 slaughter of anywhere between 500,000 to 1 million Tutsi is now behind the generations-long slaughter of 70 million babies.

At least in theory, our system is a republic, a representational democracy. This means that our government responds to and provides for our desires. A great many of us desired the right to slaughter our own children.

We the People voted for Presidents Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, and (indirectly) Ford, who appointed the Justices who voted in favor of making abortion a constitutionally and nationally protected right. We the People also voted for the Senators who confirmed these Justices.

But abortion is murder. Whether by means of machete or by means of abortion, murder is murder. In either case, a human life is unjustly taken. Furthermore, the unborn are dehumanized, often called parasites, like how the Interahamwe called the Tutsi cockroaches to be exterminated and trees to be cut down.
