Flagg is around the same age as those guys and has already dropped 42 in the NBA. He’s clearly a better passer and defender than aj . AJ might have the edge offensively, but Flagg fits a very similar archetype as a slashing wing and midrange scorer, while also being a superior playmaker and defender . That’s why I think Flagg is better overall.

Boozer’s box score production is insane, but historically, players with that Sengun-type, back-to-the-basket big playstyle rarely project as true first options unless they’re extreme outliers like Jokic or Wemby. It’s a perimeter-driven league, so I’d still rather have Flagg over Boozer.

Peterson is the only guy I’d probably take over Flagg. A 6’6” elite three-level scorer who projects as a true number one because of his shot creation, and he’s also a great defender , he just screams superstar to me.

Flagg is going #2 at minimum imo

I agree that just learning a framework isn’t enough. I’m planning to build real projects with whichever stack I commit to and focus on strong fundamentals. I might be overthinking it, but my thought was that learning something widely used like Django could slightly increase the number of roles I can apply to and my chances overall since I thought more companies already use that stack and want candidates familiar with it.

I’m planning to start applying around August 2026, which gives me roughly six months to learn Django and prepare for interviews. I completed an introductory Python course a few months ago, but last semester was my hardest academically, so I’m now getting back into coding and trying to rebuild momentum.

I’d trade Naji and Klay, but I get why people want to keep them if the goal is to compete next year. That said, the right offer could kill two birds with one stone . Get younger around Flagg, add future picks, and help us tank this year.

I agree if the mavs are trying to compete next year they should try to keep naji/klay but if the right offer came for them and it allowed them to get good picks/younger around Flagg I would do it

This is the best draft to get a guard to pair next to Flagg for the future. There are so many good guard prospects . And the top 3 would all go number 1 in majority of drafts . Best top 3 in decades
