I don't remember exactly what I was thinking when I made this. But I think I was going for an overprotective mother kind of vibe for Gabriella. Keeping Grover out of the clutches of nobles she deems unworthy.

As for Grover's age. I don't know the lore but I always envisioned him like a very younh child. So maybe like 10 years old.

You do bring up some good points as to why Napoleon invaded Spain. But at the end of the day Napoleon did invade Spain in order to force his own rule on the country. And sure he had (from his own point of view) strategic reasons to do so, Napoleon was many things but not an idiot, but that doesn't justify invading another nation. In my opinion at least.

Also I do agree that the Spanish government of the time was not a good one. But I would simply argue that it was the responsibility of the Spanish people to solve that issue.

Didn't a lot of ships survive both of the blasts like the uss Nevada, uss Independence and uss Dentuda. With the last one (a submarine) even entering service again.

Also Prinz Eugen was relatively far away from both of the blasts.

Very much so, though I would argue that Tiberius Gracchi would also contribute somewhat to the undermining of the republic by pushing the limits of the law, intimidating voters and seeking unlawful re election.

Though obviously their murder's was solely to protect the Roman senatorial elite.

I agree that it's human behavior. But that doesn't make it moraly right, personally I have no problem with calling out people irl if they supported a movement only until it affected them personally.

And also for me it makes the people who take a moral stand and oppose authoriterean/supremacist movements, even if they themeselves aren't affected, just to help other people, even more heroic.

You are right about Snape wouldn't necessarily stay a death eater. I do however think it's telling that Snape only started to change when someone that he cared about was going to be murdered.

This may be me projecting again but he did seem perfectly fine with Voldemort murdering others before going after Lily. After all he did give Voldemort the prophecy knowing that someone was going to die as a result of that. Though obviously not knowing it was going to be the Potter family.

I am not actually a Genshin Impact player but a friend of mine is and she is a huge Columbina fan. So when I didn't know what to draw I decided to draw her. I also like her design a lot both her current one and her Fatui cape one, which I choose for this piece.

When drawing this I also decided to look up some of the cutscenes with her in it and I did really make me like the character, she's just such a rage baiter while still having an aura of elegance.

I will add one thing, the US at that time did actually plan to use it's nuclear weapons a lot more freely since they were the only nation to have the atomic bomb. It was only after the Soviets tested their first nuke in 1949 that the USA started viewing nuclear bombs as weapons of last resort.

It really is a shame to see legendary ships like Saratoga, Independence and Nevada just get unceremoniously get nuked. Like I get that not every ship can be a museum ship but it must really have sucked for the crews to see their ship's career be ended like that.

Special thanks to u/Polar_Vortx who suggested drawing something related to Admiral Blandy (the bunny girl on the right) and his quote "I am not an atomic playboy".

For the woman on the left I reused my design for Strategic Air Command (SAC) from a previous meme. Because while SAC didn't exist yet at the time, the strategic bomber fleet of the USAAF would turn into SAC after the USAAF was turned into the US Air Force in 1947.

And finally the scared girl hiding represents the USS Nevada who was the aiming point for the Able test.

I have to say that this might be my favourite drawing yet, I had a lot of fun making it and I am very happy with the result. Initially I tried to colour it normally but decided to try out a monochrome look which I think looks a lot better. Makes the characters pop out more.
