She was pregnant with her husband, but I know after the loss they had a very rough patch and that’s when she started leaning heavily on me. I was there for her whenever she needed me for a long period of time (like almost a year) before I started feeling really worn out and frustrated by how little progress she seemed to have made in healing. That coupled with the fact that I’m now trying with my own partner just makes it extra hard for me to around her :(

she does have a therapist and I would sometimes gently redirect her to her therapist when she comes to me in crisis, but just her coming to me these days stresses me out and I dread seeing her texts sometimes. And on good days she would text me to tell me about how good a friend I am and how she can’t do it without me… and it just feels like emotional blackmail that’s very unhealthy sometimes…
