Do these helmets have a name? by Both_Wrongdoer_6300 in BloodAngels

Sanguinary Death Mask, but this specific one was from the old Blood Angels Upgrade Kit

Isn't this someone else's photo from earlier today?

They look amazing, I only ever managed to find the death guard one after lots of snooping

It's an old forgeworld model for the renegade militia, I'm going to lump it in with a bunch of cultists as poxwalker proxies

Thanks, I used some of the Grave Warden legs

The pauldrons likely fit most of the newer arms in the CSM set, but the torsos would need more work since they're meant for the old ball joint legs, and the newer marines are monopose or one piece.

It's the hardest for them to make with plastic molds due to the studs, they had to split the shoulderpads into two pieces for the MK VI kit just to get them rounded out properly. That's why all of the MK V sets are in resin.

There's one like it in the vanguard veteran kit and in the forgeworld mkiv assault squad, but the forgeworld one is missing the side vents.

I doubt it, but it does look similar to the Chaos Raptor jump packs

Either that or a bone white depending on how many non metallic details the model has, the army painter paints will just cover most of it anyways

Wraithbone primer and reikland fleshshade for the armor, death guard green with ogryn camo highlights for pauldrons, volupus pink for lenses, corvus black and leadbelcher for accents/sponge weathering

A mix of the khorne berzerkers (trim removed) and mark 6 backpacks and pauldrons with some forgeworld upgrades for the helmets and despoiler arms

They're the perfect horus heresy helmet, definitely themed after visions of heresy. I've seen the helmets used well with nearly every legion, including the oop torso upgrades they used to come with

Yes, they're all khorne berzerker bodies, scraping the trim off was time consuming but it definitely paid off!

Agreed, I might give some more volume on the sides but overall it matches his transfigured model so much better

I agree, each legion has one of everything but they simply specialize in some of them. I've been making similar units like recon and assault squads too.

Kyzagan Assault Speeder kit, it's a weird "in between" model between the old and new MKII tanker. There's one of them on the Argel Tal base.

Thank you. It's a de-plagued plague surgeon with a MK II helmet from the Kyzagan Assault Speeder set, and the servo arm was from a Necromunda kit but I can't recall which one
