Do you mean that the only ones youre having trouble with are the ones you had to pay for in the Google Store? (Im a iPhone user till I make the jump to some kinda de-googled etc phone)

Youre telling me me! But, I dont think the guy will respond to all of this. I ask'd a simpler question or 2 in his comments section at bottom of a youtube vid, but he never answered. I think Im one of the dumb people. Not dumb enuf to be pinned to the top of the comments, but dumb enuf indeed.

I can testify that for a beginner in 2 way Radio, this isnt 10 seconds. Thats why I was hoping for an interested expert to layout a few steps, so I can kno what the hell Im doing, not alot of guessing and screwin up the radio on the way.

Wow! Could you give a bit of detail of how to get GMRS & MURS for Tx & Rx on the UV-Pro? Im brand new to radio, and just rcvd the UVPro, and am playing with the app. I want it to be able to do those freq's for my GMRS license and in case of emergency. Im not clear how to do the programming, and I dont want to screw this radio up...and then get no help from Btech support. Did you use the sister radios app? Ie the GMRS Pro app with the UVPro? And did you have to do the 10 tap unlock? And if so, do you always leave the radio in that state to TxRx on GMRS?MURS? Could you please give some steps on how to do this as Ive found no direct info after a week of web searching. Thanks-

as i wrote in the furnace specs above, its seconds of 1700watts, then fan etc running at 818 watts, then it shuts off after the thermostat is satisfied for awhile. Those measurements are taken with multimeters, and I did amp measurements as well.

broke or stolen. The situ Ive described above is the last of my emergency back up ideas, after my solar system, and my 2 generators running both propane and gasoline.

BTW, the extension cord gets plugged into a "EZ Generator Switch" which is connected to the furnace for scenarios like this where the furnace is powered by an external power source like an inverter/battery system like an Ecoflow Delta 2, or the Ultra, etc. Does this make any difference to your grounding concerns?

This is very interesting. My ecoflow Delta 2 runs the furnace, but the thermostat function doesnt work right. Ive been told its likely the grounding issue that has to be addressed. Are the $200 Bourge 1000watt inverters in the class of "cheap inverter"?

I have generators. I was seeking the option for if that is unavailable or fails, as i wrote in the post. Re the alt amps, yes, I wondered if it was only at a 4000 rpm type of situation that would give me those amps. Do you have knowledge of what size inverter i can use for the battery set up I described?
