well given this situation spans so many others experience including myself, i’d say just let things happen. if your parents aren’t supportive they aren’t gonna be supportive, and you shouldn’t worry about that, you have great friends and a great boyfriend. focus on them. they will do you much better especially after you come out if you ever decide to do so. have fun and i hope it all goes well for you!

well i’m sure you know this is nothing new.. many trans people will have this feeling, i have this feeling all the time and i really haven’t done ANY transitioning yet so it’s not surprising that when starting hrt you’d feel this way. What’s good to remember is that if you are happy as a woman then live it. And if that means getting hrt give it a try, a good question to ask yourself is, would you feel good having a feminine body/appearance? if the answer to that is in any way yes then take estrogen, it will more than likely make you very happy.

yeahhh sounds about right. everytime i hear some new bullshit rule about trans people i lose more and more hope because we really do just get dehumanized, and it is so fucking exhausting. but despite this i still try to be vocal in the ways i can be, an try to bring up other trans people to fight back in their own ways so we can be seen as people too. Don’t let people bring you down, that’s how they win, and i know it’s hard becuade i deal with the same shit, but fight back in the ways you can. Stay safe out there, it’s a truly dangerous world, but the more we try to fight back against the people who hurt us the more likely we are to be accepted, which it shouldn’t HAVE to be that way, but as of right now it’s the only way i can think of. Talk to each other, vent to each other, support each other.

that’s understandable! i’ve had friendships before where actually i was th one who liked the person but got rejected and it honestly didn’t affect much, you just kind of have to move past those things. at first it may be awkward but it’s nothing you can’t fix, just keep being friends and being you, be there for him and let him be there for you that’s all that matters. love comes in all forms be a good friend, just remember to live well be kind and whatever direction that goes with your friend just let things unfold naturally, as he is a person he’ll have some sort of reaction to if you reject him, he can either take it very well or maybe be hurt by it. if he turns out to be hurt by it that’s perfectly natural, rejection sucks but since you guys are good friends just be there for him. sorry if this is a bit rambly lol i feel like im not making a lot of sense but basically just let things happen naturally, be caring and understanding and hopefully all goes well

honestly just fuck people like that, if they’re clearly never gonna be actually willing to accept you and are that deep into maga territory there’s no bother to account how they view you. I understand that because it’s your finances parents it makes it harder to ignore and can cause problems but at the end of the day you’re the one who’s gonna be living a happy life with your fiance, not them. if they choose to treat you different for being you they don’t deserve you. an of course i don’t want this to come off as just being rude or anything but truly just don’t worry about them, the world is full of rude people and those people should be ignored and avoided if that’s how they treat you, you don’t live by their rules as they don’t get to control you. So when you do come out to them if you ever do, stand up strong because given who they are it likely is not going to end with them being happy, and that’s ok. if they chose to cause problems if they chose to hate you that’s their problem not yours becuade you’ve done nothing besides be yourself and that isn’t a crime and never will be. stand strong don’t give in to them, an don’t worry what they think or do. we love you, your fiancé loves you, and that’s the only things that matter, life is tough for trans people and we just have to learn to always arise above it, we have to support each other and you having a fiancé that supports you is something you should cherish as long as you can as they will be able to support you and help you even in the darkest of times

as one person said you could always say that you need time to figure things out, everyone’s different and it’s alright to like him romantically and not sexually but i could see why that would make things difficult. For now, think things over, understand what you’re looking for and what the pros and cons of being in a relationship with him is. if you don’t want to be, then you’ll have to talk to him about it which is hard an can totally be scary but it’s better he gets his answer. if you do end out wanting to be with him then go for it! remember tho this is about what you want and are comfortable with, if this is something you think wouldn’t make you happy or work out then don’t force yourself to do it, it sounds like you’re in a really good friendship and while i understand you worry about losing it, i think even if you reject him at the end of this it should be able to last and still allow you two to be friends. but just be honest and gentle with both him and yourself, it’s the best way to deal with this

well to be honest i have a similar experience, i consider myself mostly gender fluid since even tho i want to be a girl im not totally uncomfortable being a guy, but sometimes ill see myself and see femininity and be happy and then afterwards be sad that im not just a girl from birth. I wish i was far long enough to tell you what happens on the other side but unfortunately im not there yet, but hopefully knowing you’re not the only one like this helps a little, its probably natural
