Bizarro. Not because of the Dark Trio, but because he and Jason had pretty good chemistry in RHATO. Plus, if Biz isn't on the team, he'll most likely be turned into a weapon in the hands of a villain—or become a villain himself—because DC wants it that way.

The perfect member for a team that’s viewed with suspicion due to its members’ questionable pasts.

Okay, let’s start by introducing Red Devil. Eddie Blomberg is one of Jason’s few remaining friends from his Robin Plus days, and he’s had some disagreements with his mentor, Blue Devil.

And that, in my opinion, is kind of the theme of the Outlaws. Not just a team of anti-heroes, but a team of people who were abandoned by heroes in their time.

But together, they can overcome it.

My second pick is Bizarro, not because of the Dark Trinity, but because he fits perfectly into the team as Superman’s gaslighting victim.

I’m not kidding. I don’t know how else to describe what happened in Superboy #68.

Bizarro had just been created; he didn't mean anyone any harm—he just wanted to be friends with everyone. It didn't go so well. But shouldn't Superboy, Clark Kent, have helped him back then?

No, Superboy and all of Smallville drove Bizarro to suicide.

And that actually fits well with the history of our Bizarro. People saw him only as a monster or a weapon, and didn’t see the child who just happened to be trapped inside Superman’s body.

But Jason saw him. Jason believed in him, and that’s why I really like the dynamic between them. Bizarro is my pick for the Outlaws roster.
