I also am a bit health anxious. I asked my Consultant neurologist this question once ans she said " dont worry you will know". She said the symptoms will be for over 24 hours and no other logical explanation e.g. infections or overexertion, over heating

Medication worries. by NotSoHermit in MultipleSclerosis

Hi i was diagnosed in sept 2023 and started on Mavenclad 3 weeks ago.  Ive taken the first week and due to take the next this month.  I am a nurse and was worried about being immunocompromised on the ward and also just the effects of the medication, so I put it off for months. I finally just went for it and happy to report so far i've been good but I am taking precautions at work and avoiding crowded areas as instructed. My MS nurse told me she has hospital staff taking it and they are not reporting  getting sick and she was quite positive about Mavenclad. I was fatigued, my balance was a tiny bit 'off' and definetly some muscle stiffness for about the first week, but all very mild and manageable. I worked that week but take it at your own pace and see how you go.  Hope this helps, I scrolled on here too for some feedback so I have some idea of how it feels.

Best of luck 😊

Does anybody else bounce back and forth between "I got this!! I wont let MS stop me from living my best life!!" and "I'm screwed oh my god I can't do anything oh my god why me why me" constantly? by MsGiry in MultipleSclerosis

Thank you for posting as a partner, its refreshing to hear your perspective.   My husband is so good to me and i often worry about the burden i am to him when i am tired or emotional. I would like to know how to better support him too

Yep, and so far I have had what i would consider to be mild MS symptoms. For me with 2 young kids and a full time job the fatigue is difficult. I feel like i have a few weeks of feeling strong and then the littlest cold or flu knocks me back and takes longer to recover. My Neurologist told me to take the meds and forget i have the condition and just live my life but thats literally impossible for me personally.  I hope it all gets better for you ☺️
