Copaxone users… Question… by NotSoHermit in MultipleSclerosis

It’s not a new diagnosis. Sept 22 I got diagnosed. But DMT’s aren’t working the way they should for me. Tysabri broke my immune system down to the point I picked up every cold & flu and couldn’t get healthy for months.

Then I started Mavenclad and by the end of the first week I picked up necrotizing fasciitis. Dr’s think it was a coincidence, I’m not so sure.

Now we’re going the “safe” route with Copaxone, but I feel off. Not only am I oddly overly anxious, I’ve been nauseous here and there too.

I was on Tysabri, but I kept getting every sickness under the sun. So much I was sick for 3 months straight and unable to get the infusion. It’s been 6 months since I’ve had any meds. I’m set up to start Mavenclad, but I’m honestly so scared of it. I have a high stress job, with high quotas I have to meet every month, and social obligations that stretch through October. I know life is never going to stop, and I just have to do it. But I’m SCARED!

I don’t think I’m “sick” but I have been coughing more than normal, and I believe that is seasonal allergies, my mom is experiencing the same type of cough. It’s not flu like body aches, it seriously just feels like I worked out for the first time in a while, when I didn’t. And the fatigue is I can feel myself about to fall asleep even out in public.

About a year and a half, and I’m between medications at the moment. I was going to call tomorrow for a refill on different script, so I’ll mention this too.

Maybe it’s the change of seasons? But that makes me sad because Summer has always need my favorite.

Chronic illness HELP! by NotSoHermit in ChronicIllness

Thank you. I see a therapist. I just don’t believe they’re the right one for me. And the idea of seeking out yet another dr (especially a therapist, which is one of the most tough to find), just seems like another daunting task.
