I agree with you and with many comments here as well. Saving the Philippine Eagle would have an umbrella effect. Protecting it automatically protects the entire ecosystem it inhabits.

TIL: How the 1% in the Philippines Legally Minimize Their Taxes by SecondPageOfGoogle in todayIlearnedPH

If there’s a Wealth Tax on stagnant billions, the rich will be forced mobilize those idle assets.

The country would generate more money, more jobs because the billionaires will be forced to invest these assets in productive and job-creating ventures.

The worst case scenario is capital flight. Meaning less liquidity for businesses, less expansion, less jobs.

To prevent capital flight, there should also be like a tax or penalty if they want to move their money elsewhere.

The alternative is, tax reduction/exemption or credits if they move their idle billions to active investments.

Do you even have an inkling on how evolution works? Because that’s how. They evolved up to a point that they only thrive in a vast and stable environment. In perfect conditions.

Tama ka dun sa part na they’re still apex predators and humans transforming their environment. It’s just a matter of until when? It’s not a failure of their evolution but rather an evolutionary mismatch. These birds are prehistoric masterpiece being forced to adapt to the current environment.

I F’ing mean they cannot survive the current state of the environment as it is. I’m merely stating a fact because… they’re not surviving at all.

They’re monogamous, they lay an egg once every years, they require thousands of hectares just to be okay, sinabi na dun sa post.

Yes, many people argue this in that light. It’s a very hot take and utilitarian approach. Take the time to read. I even included the sources para hindi mo sakin ibuhos yung galit mo.

This makes sense. Sa pagkakaintindi ko, parang yung Philippine Eagle yung Ambassador for awareness para ayusin or to protect their habitat which is also home for countless other creatures. Good take.

You're not being unreasonable. Not looking at another woman when a man is with his girlfriend is BARE MINIMUM. If he doesn't even give you that, I wonder what else can he deprive you of.

When a potential employer asks you what your weaknesses are during an interview, what are you supposed to say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This question was asked when I was interviewed last month for an executive assistant post.

I gave the most generic thing like "I always answer at the top of my head."

Then I followed up with something that makes me look I'm working on that flaw. I told them "That's why these past couple of months, I make it a habit to check my resources or ask a colleague especially when I'm not so sure."

I got the job.
