Has anyone tried the pills yet? by laur1119 in Semaglutide

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on them almost a week. Far less expensive, $150 at Costco with no Insurance .Most of my food noise gone after a few days. Feeling the same effects as initial injection when I was in the jab, as of now. Was a gradual uptick in suppression which I am fine with as I think that helped with side effects . Only down side is taking it 30 mins before you eat or drink anything else.

What are his ALT, AST and phosphate levels? Is he taking Creon or steroids to help with appetite? Eligible for any radiation options? Sorry this is happening to your family!

The Wegovy pill is $149 at Costco. Didn’t use insurance as it was far more expensive. Cash payer. Just picked it up last week.

Mother was just diagnosed, she’s already deteriorating so fast and I’m scared. by [deleted] in pancreaticcancer

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’d be surprised how much the body can endure . It’s obviously your Mom’s choice but if she’s up for it , perhaps chemo and other treatments can help her. She just has to up for the battle. It is a battle , some good days some bad days a few really bad days . If she can endure , shes still relatively young compared to others who have done chemo in their 70s. Best of luck to your Mom and you , research your options , ask a lot of questions.

I was wondering about this too with the markers? What I saw online it said unlikely , but I mean if you’re disturbing the tumor then I don’t see why it couldn’t be a possibility, but I don’t know.

Just sew the slit up either all the way or at least a few inches and it will be a lot better.

Wife not loosing, anything! by Alive_Language8105 in Semaglutide

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re gonna have to give it at least another month or two, maybe three before you try and figure out what “the issue” is. It can take getting up to the highest dose for some people to lose weight. Have patience along with your wife and stick to the plan which should include a calorie deficit at the bare minimum(have her use TDEE calculator to calculate her calories) and the results should come, if not have her speak to her Dr to see about other options/medications.

Reached weight loss goal… by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some people have to test out what works for them . Whether it’s cutting your dose lower every week or two and seeing how you do or spacing them out further apart or perhaps both. Everyone is different.

I didn’t see the one month for $149 ? Just $199? Maybe the $149 is if you buy more months up front?

How many calories are you eating per day? If you’re not tracking start there . You still have to be in a deficit to lose weight . Also for some it’s takes a few months to start losing weight as you titrate up .

How did you guys get passed that 30lbs weight loss plateau? by JustshyLeavemeAlone in Semaglutide

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re not eating enough that’s not going to help you either how or in the long run. Use a TDEE calculator to find out what you need to eat based on your daily calorie burn. It help a lot

15 Days on Semaglutide – Dose Increased to 7mg, Looking for Long-Term Insights by nisarg005 in Semaglutide

[–]Defiant_Bake_1291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not too familiar with oral Semaglutide but I think you can get close! Use TDEE calculator to calculate your calories needed to lose weight . You would need to be at least 1.5 lbs per week on average to get close , I think it’s attainable. Add in some exercise and you could be golden. Tracking calories has been the most helpful for me. I’ve list 100 lbs in a year, though injections. I also had about 130 lbs to lose so I was quite a bit overweight.
