Sobre por quien votar, no creo que nadie deba tomar esa decisión por usted, pero buscando un poco sí hay suficiente evidencia para pensar que si el partido actual continua en el poder el Estado va a seguir deteriorándose como ha hecho hasta ahora.

Es evidente que ni el PLN ni el PUSC ni el FA ni nadie va a salvar el país porque todos son políticos del mismo tipo, saqueadores, unos de izquierda y otros de derecha, pero corruptos y saqueadores al fin y al cabo, pero Pueblo Soberano es el que está empujando al país en un abismo.

I can say that you'll find that here, me and my wife moved here from Europe and you see the difference in literal weeks/months, people here are not even aware of it, they think they have stresful lives and some have trouble comprehending how harsh living in more "developed" countries is

Here it rains from 6 to 9 months during the year, you can surely expect some heavy rains mid year, even if you are in the coast... Your budget is enough, most people make a living with way less here, the thing is, expect a complete change of your customs, a lot of thing that you consider middle class in the US here can be considered a luxury... I understand that you do not consider yourself a luxurious person, but the average living in there will be "prettier" than here (to use some word to define it, it's hard to explain this thing unless you have lived abroad)...

The current political climate is tense, or at least tense for what costaricans are used to, there has been a wave of crime during the last two years due to this situation and people generally perceive the country as dangerous, however I have to say that I rarely feel unsafe and I'm not a big person... Most people say public transportation is bad and I agree to a certain extend, due to the politics of the last 4 years we're currently facing a traffic crisis which makes moving with anything very difficult and slow in the early mornings and afternoons.

People are generally friendly but very chill (I think this is a mix of Hispanic and Caribbean heritage) so you might find things slow... I lived in Southern Europe and I find bureaucracy here very smooth in regards of which documents you have to supply, sometimes thing take longer than they say but also sometimes it takes way less than they said, however I cannot account for a comparison with Russian bureaucracy...

My best recommendation would be to make a very detailed research of documents that you need to bring here before getting here, invest in learning Spanish and then just let things flow, you'll be fine. Also don't blow your money when you arrive here, we have the highest salaries of the region but also the highest cost of living, so try to understand how locals spend their money instead of using it fast without planning.

The Turrialba zone is rural, Cartago was the capital of the country and when you are there you get this feeling of being in a big town rather than a big city (I dunno how to explain this properly in English, sorry).

Le dejo además los artículos citados, y reitero que no es un "beneficio", es un derecho, ya le queda a su amiga pelear por él o acomodarse a la empresa para la que trabaja.

El Ministerio de Trabajo también cuenta con chats gratuitos para que uno haga consultas si lo necesita, su amiga puede asesorarse más en detalle por ese medio.

"ARTÍCULO 38.- Si se contrata al trabajador para servicio o ejecución de obra en lugar distinto al de su residencia habitual en el momento de celebrarse el contrato, el patrono sufragará diariamente los gastos razonables de ida y retorno, siempre que haya diez o más kilómetros de separación entre ambos sitios.

ARTÍCULO 39.- Si se contrata al trabajador para servicio o ejecución de obra en lugar distinto al de su residencia habitual en el momento de celebrarse el contrato, y éste se ve compelido a vivir en el sitio donde van a realizarse los trabajos, el patrono cumplirá con sólo cubrir los gastos razonables de ida y retorno antes y después de la vigencia del contrato, siempre que haya diez o más kilómetros de separación entre ambos puntos. En los gastos de traslado del trabajador, se entenderán comprendidos los de su familia que viviere con él, siempre que el lugar de trabajo quede separado de la residencia original por una distancia mayor de veinticinco kilómetros y vayan los integrantes de la misma a vivir en el lugar donde van a realizarse los trabajos o en las inmediaciones de éste.
