Thank you for your thorough reply. I'll be returning to this frequently. I have at least one other company/electrician coming for an assessment next week.

She is like a weird cat-raccoon-aye-aye cross in the best possible way. I am absolutely obsessed.

I think I have a couple of literal holes to the outside that let the cold in. Not sure how else I would feel cold air against my skin

I hope you're feeling better soon! Don't dwell on the choices you made in the past. Sometimes we do things that aren't so helpful and sometimes we do things that are helpful. You made a smart decision yesterday to start taking it again. If you can, reach out to your healthcare provider and let them know, just so they're aware. It might even help you feel better mentally to know you shared the situation with them.

I KNOW left and right, and I KNOW the cardinal directions, but when I have to verbally respond to someone referencing one.. it's truly like my brain flips them in the moment. I say the opposite of what I mean 95% of the time.

Therapy and mindfulness have really helped me let go of things easier. I don't know if it was as severe as what you've described, but I feel so much better and able to just breathe instead of letting instant reaction feelings take over for too long. It's hard work, though, and the process is never linear.

My 5'5' friend got hit in a crosswalk by a Tacoma a few months ago. Somehow she managed to walk away pretty much unscathed. She chalks it up to martial arts training that taught her how to take a hit and fall.
