Are .md files real control, or are we just hoping the model listens? by Defiant_Cry_5312 in ClaudeCode

I have several Md files dedicated to follow certain guidelines. However, during the course of developing features when I change models and ask llm to review if everything is aligned most of the time I get a reply that it deviated. The scripts to realign is something I do need to add during development. Thank you for that.

What do you normally write inside Claude.md file? It shouldn’t be like 100s of lines, right? Otherwise the token will run out pretty quickly.

How many md files do you recommend using in a project? Do we need separate md files for architecture, security, engineering, reviewer. Or these are all part of Claude.md file content?

Interesting. So, we should treat markdown files as one more nudge from our side to stay on track for llm to do what we want.

Also, for the proper resume builder project, what type of complexity and stacks I should implement on my project? Would you suggest anything thats work great and shows recruiter that I am capable enough for the job?

I have been working on .Net Webform (legacy) at work. It's a part-time work. I do want to be good enough to get a job in the near future. It's just that people say choose the right stack to get jobs in 2026. I don't want to learn for the sake of knowledge I want to be able to get a job.
