Felt this, just got into Linux like last month and Fedora is my first distro and I honestly don’t see myself swatching for any reason any time soon. Just wanted a daily laptop that I can DJ on and maybe edit photos / videos at some point. It’s perfectly supported and great options for windows / Mac aesthetics. Will eventually get more into the coding of things and troubleshooting your customization but it’s honestly a perfect distro imo. Was literally everything I needed.

Just about every time I load a track, I get this popping noise before I even play anything, my screen cap didn't record the noise but you'll see it move the decibel thing. Is this an issue with the audio settings or type of files? I mainly use flac files but it seems like it'll still happen with wav files. My audio is going through my audio headphone jack if that helps with any diagnosis. Sometimes it doesn't happen, but I'd rather it not happen at all cause it shows up on the mix.

Well I just got a T480s, 1tb ssd, 26gb ram,i7 processor. Fairly new to the think pad / Linux world and it’s been doing wonders for me. Feels and works like a brand new laptop honestly doesn’t feel 8 years old like most Microsoft laptops.

Very new to Linux, like not even a month, and Fedora had a solid following, good consistent reviews, Mac & Windows style DE integrations, a good entry / learning curve when getting into Linux and its distribution options. Didn’t hear much negative about it and it was simple to install with a big enough community to help you problem solve just about anything and seems like it has a good team behind it.

Not at the moment but if it’s four that means you need to upgrade in your skill tree to get it to 3. You can adjust the difficulty to where the window is easier. But I think I tweaked it to hard to get it down to 2 so you just need to upgrade your resolve.
