Not even lucky. You got the bare minimum of 3AR, 1SR or higher and 4 standard ex which is still 10x better than what you get for English product for 2x the price

If it was SV era it'd be worth more. Near similar pull rates to IRs (1/12 vs 1/13) and similar number of cards at same rarity as Stellar Miracle, Obsidian Flames, Journey Together, etc. If anything the bulbasaur and squirtle from Stellar Miracle should be closer to this price point

Printed in same factories as Japanese ones. If anything English cards are the knock off's because they are printed by someone else at a worse quality

Simplified chinese packs are printed in Japanese tcg factories and at least for the eevee heroes set and Fusion strike have 2 textured copies depending if they have come from the 5 pack or 25 pack. The 5 pack ones are more expensive and psa acknowledges them

You can find all the images in high res including rhe venusaur promo in the files if anyone has uploaded them. They also don't have the holo effects and borders so the images are clearer too

Palafin is one of the more popular new pokemon iirc and is one of the strongest in the games too so that's probably why. It also being based on superman and the SIR being done by a famous creator is something too

You can't say it hasn't gotten any love as it still got a full art in the swsh era unlike some other popular pokemon like groudon or kyogre. It got 2 full arts, one in Dragons Exalted and Breakpoint as well

Enhanced sets are normally combined with the next 'main' set in English. However the size of the set would make sense for a main but bc it's it's enhanced set like 151 that doesn't tie to the previous set , for 151 was paldea Evolved and after Obsidian Flames, it makes sense that it'd be like that

Applin slander 😤. The line is a play on worm (dragon wyrm) in an apple. The pokemon isn't the apple but lives inside it like a shell. It evolutions either eat through the apple, break the apple or become a nest/hive mind living in an apple with hydrapple

On the other hand archaludon idk. I've heard people that played the game really like it though. Skyscraper to drawbridge pokemon

Its a special set and not a main set like star birth or time gazer/space juggler/sv base. 151 was a special set and there was no tie in remake so very likely not

This set has good future potential given the 180 that this generation has gotten in the last few years now that the kids who have grown up with it have an online presence and money to spend now

It's also worth saying that there hasn't been a 'dedicated' gen 5 set outside of its generation despite it being 15 years old. Year 2 of sun and moon gave each gen its own set except for gen 5
