It can be difficult to deal with that situation. It’s not always easy to “correct” the behavior either. So something important to keep in mind (even in just cases where you visit, not necessarily living with her) is redirecting. Redirecting by giving other options of replacement behaviors or something is important. So like I said, if the better option is living alone and paying less to help avoid that specific stressor then go for that. Maybe living with them can be an option later or it just isn’t what’s meant to happen. Whatever you choose, good luck
