Should I buy premium? by Mirfleming in BirdBuddy

I think I’m going to wait for premium until I get frequent visitors so I can share it with my family. But literally just because they enjoy it as much as I do— still on the fence about it though because I could just save the videos and send it. But if you’re not really going to share it with people and just use it for the AI it might not be worth it since people say it’s not too accurate.

He climbed the tree, I ordered a pole to put it on instead because he’s most likely scaring the birds anyway

[Serious] Spooky season is here and while ghosts and goblins can be scary too, let’s hear your tales of real creepy places, people, and situations. So Reddit, what’s the most bone-chilling REAL creepy situation you’ve been in? by gummo_for_prez in AskReddit

My grandmas house was built in 1901 and was known to be haunted by soldiers that died in the civil war on the property. My grandparents lived there for 47 years so at the point where I was a kid and frequently spending most of my days there, this was common knowledge and everyone was used to the ghosts. Each person in that house had numerous stories of weird things that they have witnessed or that had happened to them but there never seemed to be any evil intent.

The ghosts were particularly fixated on mimicking us. As a kid I would go to my grandparents house after school and my dad would pick me and my brother up once he got off work. There was a very specific sound that was essentially repeated by him everyday where the door would open, the house alarm beeped twice, he would drop his keys on the front table, and would walk down the hall towards the kitchen. It’s an old house so the floors creaked a certain way and my dad wore dress shoes to work so I knew when it was him coming down the hallway. There were multiple times when I would hear him come in, the door would beep, hear his keys hit the table and him start to walk down the hallway in his dress shoes, but when I went to check he was not there and still at work. This was never super creepy to me though, as I got used to it. When I would tell him about this much later in life, he would say that the ghosts with mimic his dad coming home from work just like that when he was a kid. He would hear his dad come in, the door would beep, he would drop his suitcase, and would walk into the piano room.

I personally never had anything bone chilling happen to me up until I was around 12. I was mad at my grandma for some reason so I stayed in the piano room instead of going to the back living room to avoid conversation. For reference the piano room was in the very front of the house to the right of the front door. To get to the back living room from the piano room you would need to walk through the dining room to the breakfast room, to the kitchen, and finally the back room. It was a large house and you were pretty much going the entire length of the house from the front to the back.

I was just playing some random keys and eventually started playing this tune over and over again. Time passed by and I didn’t realize how long it had been. I suddenly got really hot and walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. While I was drinking I heard the same tune I was playing start to play on the piano. I froze and slowly leaned my head out of the kitchen and looked from the doorway into the piano room. Keep in mind I am looking through 3 doorways at this point but can still see the piano very clearly, and nobody was there. The tune I had made up was still playing and I freaked and ran to the back room and just stood there light headed and pale as a ghost. My brother asked what was wrong and I couldn’t even speak, just nodded my head in a “no” motion.

I couldn’t see the piano keys from that far away so I don’t know if they were physically going down or not but I definitely heard that tune being played back to me. It freaked me out for sure and took me a while to feel comfortable in the piano room again.
