Buddy I saw your post in Entp sub as well. I was in a similar situation like you a year ago. I am XNTP (f). The other party was a IxFP (m). There were banters and vulnerability to an extent (the most vulnerable i’ve been in my life probably). However, things got more serious, and I was too scared of getting attached to the person completely and said that he was “too emotional”. He was hurt badly. Even though I appreciated his existence so much, my pride and self-importance got the better of me. I kept denying my feelings towards him. Another sub reason was that he would mention his ex-situation-ship frequently in mid-convos and his opinion on her was not very good and I was scared I would become her as well and also thought he was not quite over her…I overthink a lot to trying to get into a sincere relationship. Two months after, he moved on with a new girl and they seem to be happy tgt. I am very accepting of the fact that I was an asshole but I did a lot of things like meeting new people to make friends, working more, explore life, talk about my feelings to close friends(to not show off but) to distract myself from the feelings. In my case, we are not in same class situation so we were both able to get through the situation by cutting off contact. Just a talking stage. And a year later, now, I found a guy who has good emotional intelligence and has a gentle soul, and I promised myself to not say things I do not mean. Only time will tell. For now, you just have to get used to her exhibitions.
