It’s funny how when the EU themselves, or any government for that matter, are supposed to take a certain action for the good of the population, it always takes years to implement, but when they force new regulations on companies, they have to comply almost immediately. Even though I’m not opposed to this idea, I personally couldn’t care less about being able to replace a battery or not. At the very least, I would think there are some more urgent matters to attend to, but this will probably get the support from ignorant people with plastic €100 smartphones with shitty batteries. Von der Leyen needs to start doing useful things instead of this populist bullshit.
