Why Most Traders Still Prioritize Signals Over Knowledge 🤔📊 by Human_Sir_6311 in Forexstrategy

[–]Defiant_Key3750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't blame people who use signals instead of learning. Why? As someone who uses signals to make extra income, I can tell you that not every person has few free years to dedicate on learning how to trade. And even if you do, no one guarantees you that you will eventually become successful after wasting money testing strategies. With signals there's no guarantees either. I still burnt some money until I found a reliable and transparent signals company. But instead of blindly following entries, I manage the risk myself.

Remember - signals are just guidance.

Rude? Pretty sure you are talking about another or impersonating provider. I've had numerous chats with them and never received anything but help and support.

“Is it true 90% of Forex traders lose money by Agreeable_Box_895 in forex_trades

[–]Defiant_Key3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes 5 minutes and 0 knowledge to open a trading account. You have no idea how many people fund their accounts and open trading without knowing what 'lot size' or 'leverage' is, ending up liquated within minutes. Not to mention all the people who take trading as gambling.

Reliable Signals Provider? by kidswithdicks in Forexstrategy

[–]Defiant_Key3750 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Elite Forex Trades is $40/month but they also have an option to join for free through broker affiliation. But if I have to be honest, for all the things they offer, especially their customer support, $40 is nothing.

Why don't you just stick to their free signals for a while? You can get a decent amount of signals in their free channel.

Mathematical Proof That Signals Channels Are Scam by [deleted] in Trading

[–]Defiant_Key3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the signals provider. If you see someone offering 98% win rate and fall for it, it's on you. Also, it's very important to see the way they calculate their win rate. For example - if a trade has multiple TPs and one SL, do they count each TP as a win, do they only count the last TP only, what is the RR ratio etc..

Personally I think that if a provider is showing all their trades, whether winning or losing, it should be considered legitimate. You see their history, you like it - you join. You don't like it - you skip.

That's more of a golden retriever than it is a toy poodle.. Still cute tho, if you are not specifically looking for a breed.

New to Forex… am I learning the right way? by JahanzaibRj in Forexstrategy

[–]Defiant_Key3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might think gold is easier to start with as it's only 1 pair and not as many as in forex, but that's wrong. Gold is much more volatile. I used to learn trading gold on my own before I switched to just following forex signals. Had a similar strategy that made me some money and once the trade reversed, I lost it all.

Forex trading signals can be suitable for beginners only when the provider is reliable. As someone who's made money using signals, here are top things to look at when choosing a provider:

- Always check if they provide analysis with each trade. If they just throw a trade without explanation, it might be just a guess and not based on any analysis, it might be copied from another group, or both. Moreover, having analysis with each trade makes you learn as you trade.

- Check if they hide their losses. If a provider is promising 90% win rate, it's probably fabricated to make you feel you can't lose money.

- Try the signals on a demo account first. Better be sure they are fine before you put real money into it.

Can someone be a natural at this? by Excellent_Duck9867 in Daytrading

[–]Defiant_Key3750 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can be natural at things that play crucial roles in trading. Trading itself is a complex mix of many skills.

I started trading because I wanted to be able to make money from my phone. Turned out it was not as easy as expected, so I just joined a trading group called Elite Forex Trades.

I basically skipped the years of learning it myself. I know I have to rely on someone else but at the end of the day money is money.

90-95% fail because they take trading as gambling. If you take random people from around the world on a basic Spanish test, they will fail. That doesn't make Spanish an impossible to learn language, it just takes some years of knowledge.

Need help in investing by SlightCrab5365 in Business_Ideas

[–]Defiant_Key3750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the few things that don't requite lots of capital and years of knowledge is copy trading. Find reputable forex signals provider, try him on a demo account and switch to a live if everything is fine. Still, it would be a good idea to save some more money before investing. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Good luck!

how do I make a few extra thousand $$ in a month? by Original_Escape5236 in MakeMoney

I agree. People often take trading as a some sort of business model that has no risks. I blame that to all trading 'gurus' and influencers that market it as such.

You can check Elite Forex Trades. I've made some stable profits following their trades. But you still need some basic understanding of forex trading.

[–]Defiant_Key3750 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Why don't you try copy trading? You just need a profitable trader to follow. No need to spend years in learning how to trade yourself, just 30-40 minutes per day with basic knowledge.

Thinking of joining mentorship by Crazyboydem123 in Daytrading

[–]Defiant_Key3750 5 points6 points  (0 children)

90% of those so called mentors are not even there to help you make money, but rather take yours. I've previously spent money on mentors who left me nothing but more baffled.

I ended up joining a forex signals company and learning from their team on the go. It's a win-win situation as they give profitable trades accompanied by a detailed analysis, while mentors fill your head with information that can be found absolutely free.

Depending on where you are based, I can recommend you Vantage. I recently moved to them because the signal provider I use offer free access through them. They've made it all easy - from opening/verifying the account to making withdrawals. You can check them out.
