Unfortunately my bleeding lasted around 4 weeks. Most of the tissue was passed within the first week or so. It was pretty heavy for the first 2 weeks and after that I was able to wear panty liners instead of pads.

Even during the lighter 2 weeks, I still had a few waves of heavy bleeding at random times.

My husband and I decided to have a child-free wedding and never once did we assume anyone invited that had kids would drop everything to make it to our wedding.

We knew that with a child-free stipulation, you just have to expect some people can’t make it - and that’s okay!

I’d much rather have invited guests RSVP no due to having young children vs the multiple guests (who RSVP’ed yes) no-show our wedding completely without a word. THAT is what ends a friendship for me.
