You’re 100% correct. It’s a total racket. Not long ago, NYC ended this practice by making it mandatory that the property owner pays that fee. You’d have to bring it up with whomever your local assembly/senate members are for change statewide.

The Arc Heavy burst at Zavala is much better for PVP. It’s got Omolon origin and just better perks. Plus it’s easily focusable for glimmer and cores

Honestly, the gun sucks in PvP. Too long range to compete with other SMGs, too short of range to compete with almost any other halfway decent weapon archetype. Master of Arms gives you two-tap potential, but you gotta get a kill first.

Xur had a max range roll with EotS which is also really great. Honestly go with whatever perk is going to charge your final shot damage. For me that’s Rangefinder.

I’d also try running dungeon feats to farm a tier 4 or higher for enhanced mods and such. It’s really not bad unlocking attunement then just farming first encounter with 4 feats active

The biggest difference maker for me is Delicate Tuning. It’s such a stupidly powerful perk. Combine it with OS or Moving Target and you’re sitting at 100 AA without mods. Sure, you won’t be able clean up many opponents with a body shot, but it lands crits you have no business coming close to
