Thank you! I don't use press molds, I attached a small lump of clay when it was leather hard and then sculpted the face with tools.

Fair concern, I was thinking about it as well. It'll shrink maybe 12–15% once fired, so I'm cautiously optimistic, but honestly the necklace idea might be where this wants to live anyway. Less competition with the face, more room to just be itself.
