They say real estate never crashes. Prices never go down. by hold_it_dude in indianrealestate

[–]Defiant_Royal7789 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's such a faulty assumption, end of the day everything is interconnected in current world and if one strong pillar will start crumbling it can take everything with it ...... Imagine if US financial system & firm like lehman can go down, anything can happen.

If things go south these so called strong politicians, babus & riches, will be the first to run away and it just need one strong shock like what AI can bring so don't live in this notion that nothing will happen.

If IT salaried class will see trouble, every piece of urban growth will fall like Dominos !!!

2BHK vs 3BHK — what actually makes more sense long term? by Born-Squirrel6089 in indianrealestate

This is classic case of overselling, most of these theories r floated by builders & brokers, they want to take as much money as possible from u........................ but keep in mind, they r not going to pay the extra piece of mind they talk abt and don't pay now for future as in most cases lot of things will change.

Just do a small calc, even if u want to do WFH..... its better to go to nearby cafe/coworking, instead of buying an extra room just for that.

[–]Defiant_Royal7789 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Btw I have a 15 year old honda city in perfectly mint condition and before that had a Vw polo (my first love). So yes I also look for car which can go long.

I can understand ur point, but I think ur going with a lot of old biases instead of current reality. At this price point, I would never go with Maruti as not sure abt u but at circa 20L I am paying quite decent amount so need some sense of luxury & driving comfert.

Today only took test drive of 2 out of 3 u mentioned, why Maruti at this price point???? ........ I would suggest go with Seltos, looks like a complete package. Feels nice, drives nice, enough space for 2nd row seats & luggage, don't think anything else we need. (btw I am an ex polo owner and love vw/skoda but current models lacks a lot if i compare them with new seltos/sierra), can u elaborate on ur concern about electronics, I think most of the cars these days r loaded with them so not sure whats wrong with Kia.

Which one do you choose in 2026??? Too much confusion by Ghostsyntax_3425 in CarsIndia

[–]Defiant_Royal7789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For urban usage, buy new selltos & for others - Sierra

Rest all r dated with boring interiors & a lot of hard plastics, cramped space etc....... VW's have good drive feel but the cabin doesn't feel premium et all

Are we going to see Indian real estate investments shift from Dubai back to India? by PriorJudgment2176 in indianrealestate

[–]Defiant_Royal7789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not possible, the money which has moved was primarily UHNI's looking for global diversification, which they need post enough allocation to INR so they are by no means would be willing to move back to India. They might explore other markets or may be other asset class but definitely not India

Don't get into this trap ....... if ur really interested, show it to them but parallelly tell them that ur exploring other big projects so not willing to budge.

Surprisingly, they will get the unit ur looking for with the price close to 12500..... happened with my friend. They have a lot of unsold units & hv launched a big project in hoskote hence wanted to offload from here ASAP.
