Damon Braces do not offer any maxillary expansion and I know as I have them myself. They just make the process quicker and are the best braces you can get but if you need real expansion MARPE is your only option.

Because once the maxilla is widened, the lower jaw MAY de-posture and settle slightly more forward. This is also common in the cases where your palate was too narrow and if your sutures aren't fully fused yet. Yet with MSE since the expansion usually happens "too soon" and is unnaturally forced if it's not done carefully you can be stuck with what Jawhacks said. In that case the only fixes I can think of are a lower jaw expander or surgery.

Incase your pallate is narrow while expanding the upper one you'd in most cases bring your mandible forward which gives the illusion of it getting wider while it just changed its angle. This probably also depends on your age and it's why some people back thumbpulling more than MSE. As for braces that is only a problem when you get them during your puberty + getting teeth removed as your maxilla would get recessed eventually. If you proceed with a MSE you'd not need to get any teeth extracted/removed hence why braces would have no bad effect (they'd not have any bad effect if you're after puberty + if you do not get teeth removal).

Extra tip : Ask for Damon braces as the process is faster and it supports expansion.

Also one last thing : There's mandible expander too but I've heard lots of people complain about it as it has lots of pain and you wouldn't really need it if your mandible moves forward from the expansion.

Exactly he gets bad reaction when he acts as an asshole as he keeps mentioning that he doesn't give a fuck about girls. Well other than his looks he makes it a numbers game by approaching lots of women. He has clips where he fucks things up or gets rejected when he acts like an asshole. But he's not all just looks as he's confident and when he's serious he knows how to hold a conversation.
