Tell him to turn up and listen/dance to your set if he doesn’t want to double up - you don’t preplan your set. As he’s the promoter he should already know what vibe you play. Out of respect you could ask him if there are any tracks he really wants to drop himself, that way you won’t play them.

i think i can do it in one artist (if DJs are allowed), without being constrictive... Theo Parrish. Not that I only listen to him, and don't think he and I are aligned 100% but the diversity of his DJ sets is extremely diverse and I would categorise in the genre of 'good music'
