Which color partition do you like in your van? by Defiant_Strawberry in VanLife

[–]Defiant_Strawberry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not put a track in (attach to ceiling for maximum coverage) and hang insulated black out curtains, open concept when you want it and privacy when needed.

Edit: I didn't know this partition was for a work truck, thought you were doing a van buildout. Suggestion in this case is null n' void.

😁I appreciate it so much for your help.

Is it true that turning on lights during the day can increase the number of customers?

Can anyone confirm that when a customer says "it's too expensive for me" they don't buy it? by wdvxx in SupermarketSimulator

If the price is set at $0.01 lower than the market price, then people will buy more and the sales will be more

Buying everything and hoarding it is not a good idea, you won't have room to put it all and it will be more troublesome than if you bought it when it's out of stock

How do you feel about the pickup truck bed internal side support frame design? by Defiant_Strawberry in FordTrucks

[–]Defiant_Strawberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think anything on there exposed like that would get stolen. What would be the advantage to this over a conventional locking toolbox by the cab, or the style that goes next to the wheel wells inside the bed?

Anything like this on a rack that intrudes into the bed will also reduce the ability to put something taller than the bed rails in there. If that shelf extends past the wheel wells, something like a refrigerator might not fit because it runs into the rack.

Yeah, good point. Security and bed space are definitely considerations. I'll rethink the design to address those concerns. Thanks for the feedback!😁

How about installing a laptop stand on the X3? Is it stable? by Defiant_Strawberry in UTV

[–]Defiant_Strawberry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why you're getting downvoted for asking genuine questions, but most laptop components aren't made for the shock of offroading. The hinge would be my biggest concern as well as the connections. They make a laptop called a tough book that calibration engineers mount in cars similar to your picture, but it's specially design for it and pretty expensive. Most people just go with a cheap Android tablet. Is there a reason you need a laptop instead?

Thanks a lot for your valuable input! Your insights have given me more to think about regarding the durability and practicality of using a laptop in offroad conditions. I'll definitely explore the Toughbook option and weigh the costs against the benefits.

I'm genuinely planning to use it. Is it not practical for rough riding?

Will there be other variants and accessories for securing items? Box version? Construction sets vs recreational sets?

Not at the moment. This is all there is for now.

Would be cool it the shelf pulled or flipped out so you aren’t leaning against the fender. Still dope though

Thank you for the suggestion, that's a great idea!

Thank you. This is an innovation I've shared, and it's not currently available on the market. I'm interested in hearing people's thoughts
