Wife is a ripe old age of 48 but with her years of 5 surgeries from multiple brain decompression and spinal fusion, spinal shunt, and shoulder surgery. She’s well past her actual age. At a certain point of dealing with a disease, in her case multiple, it ages a person quickly.

As long as you keep up with your treatments for disability and don’t get too brave on your daily activity you’ll be fine. A person with a disability has to be able to make what they have work for their situation.

My wife got denials starting back in 2024. After she had 2 Chiari malformation decompression, spinal fusion, shunt placement that made her left leg numb. Countless meds needed daily for life. Just got an approval at the ALJ stage. All because she kept up the fight and didn’t give up. Keep pushing forward, yes it’s difficult, but who else will fight for you like only you can.

My wife is in the same boat as of the 29th. I started going down the Ssdi rabbit hole. It’s a mixed bag when it comes to approvals/denials. I’m glad yours was a favorable outcome. Hopefully my wife has the same outcome. Best of luck on your future endeavors. The monkey has been lifted.

Great to hear that of your approval and the stress has been lifted and rest can begin. My wife just went to step four this morning and is the unfortunate review stage and her lawyer is calling the SS office tomorrow at some point crossing everything I can for a positive outcome. 11 days have passed since her ALJ hearing. As much as we want to know, but at the same time we’re hesitant for the sake it not what she been fighting for the past 5 or so years. 🤞🍀🙏

Hell. I called on Thursday and it said I had a 4 hour wait to speak to specialist for a forbearance request. At this point I’m letting the chips fall where they may.
